The Rock and Roll Report is a place to go when you are tired of the same music played over and over on commercial rock radio. Playing great rock and roll from indie and unsigned bands.

About Rock and Roll Report

People are fed up with rock and roll. They are tired of reading about the same bands, hearing the same songs played on the radio and are desperately trying to find a music TV station that actually plays videos instead of another pathetic excuse for “reality TV.”

Older fans are looking for the rush that rock and roll used to give them when they could turn to their local rock radio station and have a favorite DJ play tracks and recommend bands that they might never have heard of otherwise. Younger fans are discovering the classic rock bands and sounds of the past and are desperately seeking something available today that incorporates the same attitude, style and sound without being derivative. They are sick of having to flip back and forth from a classic rock station to an alternative rock station in order to get their rock and roll fix and have given up on the old guard rock press that seems fixated on the past or whatever fad is in at the moment. And everyone is sick of paying up the nose to go see the current rock gods at the local enormodome where a ticket and a beer cost almost as much as a week’s vacation.

The Rock and Roll Report understands this. The Rock and Roll Report is here to scratch your rock and roll itch. From highlighting cool up and coming bands and artists in the virtual pages of RockandRollReport.Com to featuring an amazing variety of music videos on Rock and Roll Report TV to playing for you some of our favorite music from all around the world on Rock and Roll Report Radio and the Rock and Roll Report Podcast, the Rock and Roll Report has your back. While we do not discriminate based on modes of distribution, there is a reason why the majority of bands and artists on our site are either unsigned or on smaller indie labels and that’s because that is where the best rock and roll action is. And the Rock and Roll Report is “niche-free.” We’re not falling into the trap of over-classifying our rock and roll. Regardless of whether it is punk, powerpop, hard rock, psychedelia or any of the hundreds of niches foisted onto us by record labels and the media, we know what rocks our world and that’s all that matters to us. Hell, isn’t variety of influences part of the fun of listening to rock and roll in the first place?

If you thought rock and roll was dead, welcome to The Rock and Roll Report. We have what you have been looking for and we guarantee that your ears will thank you. The Rock and Roll Report. It’s loud, it’s sexy, it’s fun and it’s just a little bit raunchy. We like to call it Rock and Roll 2.0. Stay awhile and enjoy the taste and don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter or RSS feed to keep up to date on what we are doing!
