An Oral History of Circus Magazine

Circus_mag Steven Ward has embarked on an impressive project over at Rock Critics in his Oral History of Circus Magazine. Circus magazine has particularly fond memories for me as I grew up devouring the pages of the rock mag and I have written about it in the past (Circus Memories) but this oral history is an amazing resource. It is quite surprising to realize that Circus is one of the oldest rock mags still published yet until now no real history has been written about it. A great listen and read.
Later.

MAY 23, 2006 UPDATE! Circus Magazine editor Gerald Rothenberg has just announced that after massive financial losses he is folding Circus Magazine. The end of another rock and roll institutution.
