Ben & Jerry’s One World One Heart Festival

Ben & Jerry’s One World One Heart Festival
I love Ben and Jerrys. I love what the company stands for (I know, I know, they have been bought out by humungous multinational Unilever but they still seem to be keeping up with the “caring capitalism” espoused by their founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield). Most of all I love their ice cream. A lot. I’ve done the factory tour twice, read all the Ben and Jerrys books I could find and have argued furiously with my wife over the merits of Cherry Garcia and why it should be on our grocery list. And they put on a fine music festival which this year is scheduled to be held at the site of the original Woodstock Music and Arts Fair in Bethel, New York. Here’s your chance to get back to the garden man. Featuring an eclectic array of bands, the One World, One Heart festival is just cool. OK so I might not be thrilled with LeAnn Rimes on the bill but hey, I’m willing to keep an open mind. After all, they will be serving Phish Food!
Later.
