CASTING DIRECTOR SEEKS SINGER FOR TEEN ROCK BAND

August 6, 2009 by Mark Boudreau

Casting director Ali Shayesteh, is looking for a lead singer for a teen rock band. This is an open call for someone to sing lead and participate in the making of a documentary. The auditions will be filmed as part of the documentary project and one singer will be chosen to lead that band, so playing an instrument is a plus. The band will be showcased for labels and agents when ready. The project is non-union and releases will need to be signed. Filmed auditions are August 29 and 30 in Los Angeles. Ages 12-17 only. For more information, contact Ali at 818-371-5218 or shayesteh.ali@gmail.com.

I know you are looking 4 a singer. I am trying very hard to help a GROUP of talented 13 tear old musicians. They are an all kid AC/DC tribute band that wants so badly to get noticed, and make it somehow, somewhere. They’ve even been invited to play at the Viper Room in Hollywood, but sadly we couldn’t afford the trip. These kids ROCK better than some pro bands, and audiences everywhere are blown away! Please check them out at
