The wonderful Another Planet has a great list of all time great Power Pop broken down into bands, albums and songs and further broken down into 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier. Quite comprehensive and informative.

    Hi,

    Just to give proper credit, that list comes from the AllMusic.com web site. If you search by genre, those are what they consider the top artists, albums, songs. I thought it was a very decent list and posted a hidden page for people on the Audities mailing list to reference when they were discussing favorites of all time.

    So – if I take it down sometime, you can always see the current version at AllMusic – which has a similiar list for every sub-genre you could imagine, as well as an essay describing the roots of the genre.
