The Rock and Roll Report is a place to go when you are tired of the same music played over and over on commercial rock radio. Playing great rock and roll from indie and unsigned bands.

Just added to The Rock and Roll Report: Mercora Music Search

June 21, 2006 by Mark Boudreau

One thing that Six Apart (the makers of TypePad which is the software used to create this site) have added to the many list of features available to weblog publishers are a whole host of things called “widgets” which can do all kinds of things. I have just added the first widget to The Rock and Roll Report and it is a search engine to the Mercora music service. The Mercora Music Search box lets you search, find and listen to a collection of more than 3,000,000 songs by more than 200,000 artists. Mercora’s network of music is streamed from individuals making their collections available for webcasting. You will find the Mercora Music Search Box on the top right hand side of the page. Try it out and see what you think and look for more cool widgets to be added in the future.

Later.
