Kings of Leon- Aha Shake Heartbreak

Kingsofleon I really like the Kings of Leon but I must admit it takes me a bit of time to warm up to their releases. So it was with Aha Shake Heartbreak, a great slab of Southern-fried rock and roll that is a more polished and solid follow-up to their first album “Youth & Young Manhood.” A dark and somewhat more somber take lyrically, “Aha Shake Heartbreak” is still a welcome sign of growth for a band that has ridden their marriage of 70’s style, the original vocals of Caleb Followill and the evolving dynamics of twin-guitar rock and roll for 2005 to the top of the rock and roll heap, epecially in the UK. A great album, again.
