The Rock and Roll Report is a place to go when you are tired of the same music played over and over on commercial rock radio. Playing great rock and roll from indie and unsigned bands.

Michael Carpenter’s “Rolling Ball”

March 3, 2005 by Mark Boudreau

Micheal_carpenter_2 The reason I always refer to my rock and roll interests as “niche-free” is because I pretty much enjoy the full spectrum of rock and roll from garage, punk and power pop to the traditional “classic” rock bands and the great indie hard rock bands of today. That is why I am rocking to the great power pop stylings of Michael Carpenter and his great record “Rolling Ball.” Absolutely first rate rock and roll that gets better with each subsequent listen, “Rolling Ball” is another fantastic release from the Not Lame label. If you are looking for a taste here are a few samples to whet your apetite: Rolling Ball, Everyday, Emily Says (snippet) and No One (snippet). Enjoy!
Later.
