Miles Copeland on the rock biz.

The Copeland family has certainly put their imprint on rock and roll from Stewart’s drumming with The Police to Ian’s running the FBI booking agency to Miles’ managing The Police and Sting as well as starting I.R.S. Records and being the Sex Pistols’ manager throughout their first European tour. If you would like to soak up some of that rock biz knowledge that Miles has floating around his cranium you might want to check out his appearance at the Harkness Chapel on the Case Campus in Cleveland as part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s "From Songwriters to Soundmen: The People Behind the Hits." He will be talking January 19th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are only 5 bucks and are available through Ticketmaster or the Rock Hall itself.
If you go, ask him if Sting really is an asshole.
Later.
