Stone Temple Pilots Reunion = Stone Temple Pilots Tribute

Just in time for the celebrated Stone Temple Pilots reunion comes the announcement that Versailles Records has announced a STP tribute album. Titled Wicked Garden: A Millennium Tribute to Stone Temple Pilots it’s due in the early spring of 09.

According to the label

In addition to a number of name hard rock and alt-rock/grunge-era artists participating, the collection will also feature a handful of up and coming millennium rock bands. Those interest in submitting tracks should email versaillesrecords2006@yahoo.com with a myspace or related web link, and specific STP song they’re interested in covering. The label recently released ‘Lick It Up: A Millennium Tribute to Kiss’, and will have tributes to Guns N’ Roses and Led Zeppelin rounding out the remaining 08 release calendar.
