The Rock and Roll Report Band of the Week is…..The Rock and Roll Report!

testpattern_rca_31If you are a regular reader of The Rock and Roll Report you will be aware that the site has been offline for a few days due to technical issues but now that it is back online the interruption has caused some havoc to the schedule for this week. As we didn’t want to shortchange the Band of the Week who was scheduled this week, we have decided to postpone the feature until next week so they get the benefit of seven days on the site.

So instead of the usual great Band of the Week this week we invite you to browse around the site and rediscover some great stuff from the archives. How about checking out other Band’s of the Week from the past by going to the Artists and Bands section of the site? Or how about reading some of the great features from the past in our Features section?

Looking to buy or download a CD? A quick trip to our Reviews and Suggestions page might be helpful. How about a cool video? Check out the amazing variety on Rock and Roll Report TV. Or if you are looking for some great free (and legal!) music to download check out our Free MP3s section or download a Rock and Roll Report Podcast! Wither way your woofers will be woofing and your ears will be smiling!

Looking for something to do this summer? How about hitting a music festival? If you are looking for some ideas check out our huge and constantly updated 2009 Summer Festival Guide and take your pick as there are tons of them in all four corners of the globe!

And always remember that you can stay in touch by subscribing to our RSS Feed, podcast or newsletter so that you don’t miss a single bit of rock and roll goodness posted daily to the site.

Thanks so much for your support. As we mop up the mess from this technical snafu we are smiling as the music is cranked and the windows are rattling. That’s what rock and roll is all about.

Cheers!

Rock and Roll Report Podcast #51 – Shake Me!

shake-meThe 51st edition of the Rock and Roll Report Podcast proudly boasts no bands that have been previously played before proving the adage once again that there is just so much incredible rock and roll out there to be had if you dig down and search for it. As a matter of fact, there is so much great rock and roll out there and that has been submitted to the Rock and Roll Report for possible review or airplay that I am about 2 months behind in listening to it all so if you have recently submitted music please have patience, I will get to it!

Once again we kind of roam around the world in search of amazing rock and roll from either bands who are unsigned or signed to independent record labels and this podcast’s crop is simply amazing. From the straight up rock and roll of Shake Me to the thunder of What You’re Doing To Me to the beauty of Rain, I think this week’s show captures a lot of what I love about rock and roll.

Rock and Roll Report Podcast #49 – Boogie Up!

These last few weeks have played havoc with my podcasting schedule as so much non-Rock and Roll Report stuff has gone down that I just haven’t had the chance to put together a string of weekly podcasts for what seems like forever. Hopefully as things calm down I will be able to get back to a more consistent schedule but until that time I really do apologize for the erratic schedule and I thank you all for subscribing and listening to the show.

I have tons of new music to listen to and absorb and it still amazes me to this day how so much great music is not picked up by mainstream media but such is life. We podcasters and bloggers will pick up the torch and carry it high.
