The Rock and Roll Report Band of the Week is Silent Treatment

May 4, 2009 by Mark Boudreau

silent-treatment-304Representing a fresh face in this latest generation of young bands, Silent Treatment serves up a tasty dose of old and new in a lively Rock format that can be considered in the family tree of the Foo Fighters, Buckcherry and Stone Temple Pilots.

Silent Treatment is: D. Rosales on vocals and guitar, Steve Abel on bass, Jerry Wu on lead guitar and Rico Esparza on drums. A foursome with all members still in their early 20’s, the band has been playing a relentless schedule up and down the West Coast, splitting time between their ever-growing So-Cal and Nor-Cal fan bases as well as the Pacific Northwest and Southwest. Their high energy live show and soulfull musicianship is earning them acclaim from club owners, soundmen, bartenders, doormen, and the always important new fans.

The track that the band have made available for Rock and Roll Report readers to download for free is Fear, a frantically fast-paced anthem with a propulsive guitar riff that will lead you winded. You can download the track here courtesy of the band and the Rock and Roll Report!
