UNIQUE COMPETITION/SHOWCASE IS LAUNCHED

(From Music Connection) Skinnie Magazine, in association with Black Mountain Productions, Indie World Showcase Series, is presenting a unique competition/showcase, through an elaborate multimedia marketing campaign. For 9 months, say the organizers, “we will be inviting ALL independent rock acts to register for “Indie Music Assault.” This campaign will be promoted virally through the use of a “Vote for our band Widget”. The Top 10 bands chosen will be paid a gig fee for their performance in the competition, which will take place at in May at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
