A middle school marching band based in this American town has been banned from playing “Louie, Louie” in this Saturday’s Grand Floral Parade because of the “alleged raunchy lyrics” according to “Band banned from performing “Louie, Louie.” Yes folks, in this day and age it’s nice to see that parents are still concerned that the barely understood lyrics of a rock and roll classic written in 1956 by Richard Perry still pose a danger to the youth of 2005.
