The Black Crowes were always one of my favourite bands. They had their rock and roll swagger and chops honed to a “T” and they were always good for a tune and a quote so it is nice to see that they have reconvened for a full 30 date North American tour according to Total Rock. I don’t care if you think they are retro or if Chris Robinson is an asshole, the Black Crowes to me are a fine example of straight ahead funky rock and roll in the “Exile on Main Street” meets Grateful Dead vein and I am glad that they are back.
